If your thermostat is blank or has a blinking battery light or symbol on the thermostat, it indicates that the batteries need to be changed. Most thermostats require AA or AAA batteries.
Sometimes a high voltage breaker can trip and cause the unit to stop working. If that is the issue, flip it back and you should be back in business.
